समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः
Samantapañcaka Narrative and the Measure of an Akṣauhiṇī
तस्य प्रज्ञाभिपन्नस्य विचित्रपदपर्वण: । सूक्ष्मार्थन्याययुक्तस्य वेदार्थभ्भूषितस्य च,यह महाभारत इतिहास ज्ञानका भण्डार है। इसमें सूक्ष्म-से-सूक्ष्म पदार्थ और उनका अनुभव करानेवाली युक्तियाँ भरी हुई हैं। इसका एक-एक पद और पर्व आश्चर्यजनक है तथा यह वेदोंके धर्ममय अर्थसे अलंकृत है। अब इसके पर्वोकी संग्रह-सूची सुनिये। पहले अध्यायमें पर्वानुक्रमणी है और दूसरेमें पर्वसंग्रह

Mahābhārata này—được trí tuệ minh triết thấu đạt—kỳ diệu trong từng lời, từng parvan (phần). Nó đầy ắp ý nghĩa vi tế và lý luận chặt chẽ, lại được trang sức bằng ý chỉ Veda thấm nhuần dharma.
