द्रौपदी-स्वयंवर-प्रारम्भः

Commencement of Draupadī’s Svayaṃvara

यस्मादसदृश: शाप: प्रयुक्तोडयं मयि त्वया । तस्मात्‌ त्वत्त: प्रवर्तिष्ये खादितुं पुरुषानहम्‌,“चूँकि तुमने मुझे यह सर्वथा अयोग्य शाप दिया है, अतः अब मैं तुम्हींसे मनुष्योंका भक्षण आरम्भ करूँगा”

yasmād asadṛśaḥ śāpaḥ prayukto ’yaṃ mayi tvayā | tasmāt tvattaḥ pravartiṣye khādituṃ puruṣān aham ||

“Vì ngươi đã giáng lên ta một lời nguyền hoàn toàn không xứng và bất công, nên từ nay ta sẽ bắt đầu ăn thịt loài người—khởi đầu chính từ ngươi.”
