द्रौपदी-स्वयंवर-प्रारम्भः
Commencement of Draupadī’s Svayaṃvara
तथेत्युक्त्वा तत: सूद: संस्थानं वध्यघातिनाम् । गत्वा55जहार त्वरितो नरमांसमपेतभी:,तब रसोइया “तथास्तु' कहकर वध्यभूमिमें जल्लादोंके घर गया और (उनसे) निर्भय होकर तुरंत ही मनुष्यका मांस ले आया
tathety uktvā tataḥ sūdaḥ saṃsthānaṃ vadhyaghātinām | gatvā jahāra tvarito naramāṃsam apetabhīḥ ||
Nói: “Xin vâng,” xong, người đầu bếp liền đến nơi bọn đao phủ cư ngụ—chốn của những kẻ giết người bị kết án—và không chút sợ hãi, vội vã mang thịt người trở về.
