यस्तु स्यात् कामवृत्तो5पि पार्थ ब्रह्मपुरस्कृत: । जयेन्नक्तंचरान् सर्वान् स पुरोहितधूर्गत:,किंतु कुन्तीकुमार! कामासक्त होनेपर भी यदि कोई पुरुष किसी ब्राह्मणको आगे करके चले तो वह समस्त निशाचरोंपर विजय पा सकता है; क्योंकि उस दशामें उसका सारा भार पुरोहितपर होता है
yastu syāt kāmavṛtto 'pi pārtha brahmapuraskṛtaḥ | jayen naktaṃcarān sarvān sa purohitadhūr-gataḥ ||
Gandharva nói: “Hỡi Pārtha, dẫu một người bị dục vọng thúc đẩy, nhưng nếu tiến bước với một Bà-la-môn đi trước làm người dẫn đường và che chở, thì vẫn có thể khuất phục mọi kẻ thù lang thang trong đêm; bởi khi ấy, toàn bộ gánh nặng của cuộc việc được đặt lên vai vị tư tế.”
