स तप्यमानो दुष्टात्मा तेषां वाचो न चक्षमे । ईर्ष्यया चापि संतप्तो धृतराष्ट्रमुपागमत्‌,इस प्रकार संतप्त हुआ वह दुष्टात्मा लोगोंकी बातोंको सहन न कर सका। वह ईर्ष्याकी आगसे जलता हुआ धृतराष्ट्रके पास आया

sa tapyamāno duṣṭātmā teṣāṃ vāco na cakṣame | īrṣyayā cāpi saṃtapto dhṛtarāṣṭram upāgamat ||

Bị dày vò trong lòng, kẻ tâm địa xấu xa ấy không sao chịu nổi những lời họ nói. Bốc cháy trong ngọn lửa ghen tị, hắn tìm đến Dhṛtarāṣṭra.
