Vaiśampāyana nói: Đức Thánh Guha (Skanda) cũng được truyền tụng là con của Agni, là con của các Kṛttikā, là hậu duệ của Rudra, và là con của sông Gaṅgā.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse emphasizes Skanda’s transcendent status: he is described through multiple divine parentages (Agni, the Kṛttikās, Rudra, and Gaṅgā), indicating that his origin cannot be confined to a single lineage and that he embodies profound sacred mysteries (sarvaguhyamaya).
Vaiśampāyana reports the traditional epithets and origin-accounts of Guha/Skanda, listing how different sacred traditions describe him as the son of various divine figures, thereby situating Skanda within a broader mythic and theological framework.
