Vāraṇāvata-prasaṃsā and the Pāṇḍavas’ Departure (वरणावत-प्रशंसा तथा पाण्डव-प्रयाणम्)
अभिफषिक्तं तु श्र॒ुत्वैव कृतार्थो5स्मीति चिन्तयन् । प्रियं सखायं सुप्रीतो राज्यस्थं समुपागमम्
abhiṣiktaṃ tu śrutvaiva kṛtārtho ’smīti cintayan | priyaṃ sakhāyaṃ suprīto rājyasthaṃ samupāgamat ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Nghe rằng người ấy quả đã được làm lễ tấn phong (lên ngôi), ta thầm nghĩ: “Ta đã toại nguyện.” Rồi lòng hân hoan, ta đến gần người bạn thân yêu của mình, khi ấy đang ngồi ở địa vị vương giả (trên ngai).
