Droṇa’s Ācārya-Dakṣiṇā: Capture of Drupada and Division of Pāñcāla (द्रोण-आचार्यदक्षिणा)

वाहयित्वा कुमारांस्ताञ्जलक्रीडागतांस्तदा । प्रमाणकोट्यां वासार्थी सुष्वापावाप्य तत्‌ स्थलम्‌

vāhayitvā kumārāṁs tāñ jalakrīḍāgatāṁs tadā | pramāṇakoṭyāṁ vāsārthī suṣvāpa āvāpy tat sthalam ||

Vaiśampāyana nói: Dẫn theo những thiếu niên đã đến để vui đùa dưới nước, rồi vì muốn tìm chỗ nghỉ, chàng bước vào ngôi nhà tại Pramāṇakoṭī và nằm xuống ngủ ở một góc nơi ấy. Cảnh này nhắc rằng những nhu cầu thường tình—nghỉ ngơi và nương náu—cũng có thể mở đầu cho những biến cố lớn; và sự cẩn trọng trong chốn chung là một phần của đạo lý.
