The Birth of Kṛpa and Kṛpī; Kṛpa’s Attainment of Astras
स्वर्गे तेनाभितप्तो5हमप्रजस्तु ब्रवीमि व: । पित्र्यादृणादनिर्मुक्तस्तेन तप्ये तपोधना:
svarge tenābhitapto 'ham aprajastu bravīmi vaḥ | pitryād ṛṇād anirmuktas tena tapye tapodhanāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Ngay ở cõi trời ta cũng bị dày vò bởi chính ý nghĩ ấy; vì không có con nối dõi, ta thưa cùng các ngài. Hỡi những bậc khổ hạnh giàu công phu tu tập, ta vẫn chưa được giải thoát khỏi món nợ đối với tổ tiên—bởi vậy lòng ta bừng cháy trong âu lo.”
