अनुक्रमणिकाध्यायः (Anukramaṇikā Adhyāya) — Invocation, Narrator Frame, and Textual Scope
जगाम तपसे धीमान् पुनरेवाश्रमं प्रति । तेषु जातेषु वृद्धेषु गतेषु परमां गतिम्
jagāma tapase dhīmān punar evāśramaṃ prati | teṣu jāteṣu vṛddheṣu gateṣu paramāṃ gatim ||
Bậc hiền trí lại lên đường về am thất để tu khổ hạnh. Và khi những người ấy đã sinh ra, đã già nua, rồi lìa đời để đạt đến cảnh giới tối thượng, thì dòng thời gian vẫn tiếp tục trôi—ghi dấu sự viên mãn của bổn phận đời người và sự kết thúc lặng lẽ trong một cứu cánh tối cao.
