विस्तीर्यैतन्महज्ज्ञानमृषि: संक्षिप्य चाब्रवीत् । इष्ट हि विदुषां लोके समासव्यासधारणम्,महर्षिने इस महान् ज्ञानका संक्षेप और विस्तार दोनों ही प्रकारसे वर्णन किया है; क्योंकि संसारमें विद्वान् पुरुष संक्षेप और विस्तार दोनों ही रीतियोंको पसंद करते हैं
vistīryaitat mahaj jñānam ṛṣiḥ saṅkṣipya cābravīt | iṣṭa hi viduṣāṃ loke samāsa-vyāsa-dhāraṇam ||
Sau khi đã trình bày tri thức vĩ đại ấy một cách rộng rãi, vị hiền triết lại nói lần nữa bằng lời cô đọng. Bởi ở đời, bậc học giả quý trọng năng lực nắm bắt và truyền đạt giáo huấn vừa theo lối tóm lược, vừa theo lối triển khai đầy đủ.
