अध्याय ९६: शरभ-प्रादुर्भावः, नृसिंह-दर्पशमनम्, विष्णोः शिवस्तुतिः, फलश्रुति

गगनव्यापि दुर्धर्षशैवतेजःसमुद्भवम् वीरभद्रस्य तद्रूपं तत्क्षणादेव दृश्यते

gaganavyāpi durdharṣaśaivatejaḥsamudbhavam vīrabhadrasya tadrūpaṃ tatkṣaṇādeva dṛśyate

Ngay trong khoảnh khắc ấy, hình tướng của Vīrabhadra liền hiện ra—sinh từ quang lực Śaiva (Śaiva tejas) bất khả kháng của Shiva, trùm khắp bầu trời. Đó là sự hiển lộ áp đảo của uy lực Pati, điều mà kẻ bị trói buộc như paśu không thể chịu nổi.
