It links liberation to “seeing” the saving truth—implying that Linga-darśana and Shiva-centered contemplation are not mere ritual, but a means for the paśu to cross the duḥkha-sāgara of saṃsāra by turning to Pati.
Shiva appears as Mahādeva, the sovereign Pati whose utterance and presence orient the cosmos (“surveying the directions”) and whose revealed truth, when realized, ends rebirth for the bound soul.
The takeaway is darśana-jñāna: meditative “seeing/realization” of Shiva-tattva (central to Pāśupata orientation) as the inner fruit of worship—knowledge that severs pāśa and halts punarjanma.
