Nhờ thực hành khổ hạnh sám hối Prājāpatya Kṛcchra do Prajāpati quy định, người ấy liền được giải thoát khỏi tội lỗi—và khỏi mọi lỗi lầm phát sinh từ lời nói, ý nghĩ hay thân hành.
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It frames purification (prāyaścitta) as a prerequisite for Śiva-upāsanā: cleansing faults of speech, mind, and body so the Pashu becomes fit for Pati-bhakti and Linga-pūjā.
Implicitly, Śiva as Pati is the liberating principle: when the Pashu removes pāśas (karmic impurities) through disciplined expiation, the soul becomes capable of receiving Śiva’s grace that culminates in release from sin.
The Prājāpatya Kṛcchra—an expiatory vrata/austerity—paired with ethical restraint over vāk (speech), manaḥ (mind), and kāya (body), aligning with the purificatory foundation of Pāśupata-oriented discipline.
