Adhyaya 89: शौचाचारलक्षणम् — सदाचार, भैक्ष्यचर्या, प्रायश्चित्त, द्रव्यशुद्धि, आशौच-निर्णय
संध्यालोपे कृते विप्रः त्रिरावृत्त्यैव शुध्यति आह्निकच्छेदने जाते शतमेकमुदाहृतम्
saṃdhyālope kṛte vipraḥ trirāvṛttyaiva śudhyati āhnikacchedane jāte śatamekamudāhṛtam
Nếu một Bà-la-môn sao lãng nghi lễ Sandhyā, người ấy được thanh tịnh khi thực hành lại với ba lần lặp. Nhưng nếu bổn phận hằng ngày (āhnika) bị đứt đoạn, thì quy định sám hối bằng một trăm lần (tụng niệm).
