Shloka 98

ध्यानयज्ञः, संसार-विष-निरूपणम्, पाशुपतयोगः, परा-अपरा विद्या, चतुर्वस्था-विचारः (अध्यायः ८६)

विदितं नास्ति वेद्यं च निर्वाणं परमार्थतः निर्वाणं चैव कैवल्यं निःश्रेयसमनामयम्

viditaṃ nāsti vedyaṃ ca nirvāṇaṃ paramārthataḥ nirvāṇaṃ caiva kaivalyaṃ niḥśreyasamanāmayam

Theo chân lý tối thượng, Niết-bàn (Nirvāṇa) không phải điều đã biết sẵn, cũng không phải đối tượng để biết thêm. Trong nghĩa rốt ráo, chính Nirvāṇa là Kaivalya—niḥśreyasa vô cấu, vô sầu, là Thiện Tối Thượng không bệnh hoạn (anāmaya).
