Adhyaya 8: Yogasthanas, Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama-Siddhi, and Shiva-Dhyana leading to Samadhi

ज्ञानेन निर्दहेत्पापं निरुध्य विषयान् सदा निरुद्धेन्द्रियवृत्तेस्तु योगसिद्धिर्भविष्यति

jñānena nirdahetpāpaṃ nirudhya viṣayān sadā niruddhendriyavṛttestu yogasiddhirbhaviṣyati

Nhờ tri kiến giải thoát, hãy thiêu đốt tội lỗi; và hãy luôn chế ngự các đối tượng của giác quan. Khi mọi dao động của các căn được hoàn toàn dừng lặng, thành tựu Yoga tất sẽ sinh khởi—dẫn paśu thoát khỏi pāśa và hướng về Pati, tức Śiva, Đấng Chủ Tể.
