jñānaṃ vicārato labdhvā rudrebhyastatra mucyate ardhanārīśvaraṃ devaṃ caturbhujamanuttamam
Nhờ quán sát phân biệt mà đạt được chân tri, linh hồn bị trói buộc được giải thoát khỏi các lực Rudra nơi ấy; rồi chứng ngộ Đấng Vô Thượng—Ardhanārīśvara, vị Deva tối thượng, bốn tay—Śiva hiệp nhất cùng Śakti.
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It links outer devotion to inner realization: through vicāra (discriminative inquiry) the pashu (soul) transcends binding powers and attains darśana of Pati as Ardhanārīśvara—Shiva as the ultimate reality behind all forms, including the Linga.
Shiva-tattva is presented as anuttama (unsurpassed) and integrally united with Shakti (Ardhanārīśvara), indicating that liberation culminates in realizing the non-dual Lord who contains both consciousness and its power.
The emphasis is on jñāna gained by vicāra—an inner Pāśupata-oriented discipline of discernment that cuts pasha (bondage) and leads to direct realization of Shiva-Shakti, complementing external puja.
