Adhyaya 73 — त्रिपुरदाहे ब्रह्मस्तवः
Brahmā’s Hymn in the Context of Tripura’s Burning
Suta Goswami (narrating an internal recollection/tradition)
It states that disciplined Pāśupata practice and complete worship culminate in direct darśana of Śiva in the Liṅga, affirming the Liṅga as the revelatory locus of Parameśvara.
Śiva is presented as Parameśvara (Pati), directly knowable through worship and yogic discipline; His presence is not merely symbolic but experientially ‘seen’ in the Liṅga by realized devotees.
The verse highlights Pāśupata-vrata/discipline joined with sampūjā (complete Liṅga-pūjā), implying a path that loosens pāśa (bondage) for the paśu (soul) through devotion and observance.
