Adhyaya 72 — Puradāha: Rudra’s Cosmic Chariot, Pāśupata-Vrata, and Brahmā’s Shiva-Stuti

Kính lễ muôn lần âm tiết “A”, hiển lộ trong sáu mươi bốn thể cách. Kính lễ muôn lần âm tiết “U”, tự thân là ba mươi hai tattva—tỏ bày Pati (Đấng Chúa) làm nền tảng của mọi nguyên lý, vừa trói buộc vừa giải thoát pashu (linh hồn).
Suta Goswami (narrating a Shiva-mantra stuti within the Linga Purana discourse)
It sanctifies Linga-puja as mantra-centered worship: the devotee honors Shiva through primordial seed-syllables, contemplating how all manifested forms and categories arise and are resolved in the Lord.
By identifying ‘A’ and ‘U’ with comprehensive modes and tattvas, it presents Shiva as Pati—the substratum and master of the entire tattva-order that conditions the pashu, and the power that grants release from pasha.
Bija-akshara japa and tattva-dhyana: reciting and meditating on ‘A’ and ‘U’ as Shiva’s manifestations, a contemplative method aligned with Pashupata-style inner worship.
