Adhyaya 71: पुरत्रयवृत्तान्तः—ब्रह्मवरदानम्, मयकृतत्रिपुर-निर्माणम्, विष्णुमाया-धर्मविघ्नः, शिवस्तुति, त्रिपुरदाहोपक्रमः
तस्माद्दैत्या न वध्यास्ते भूतैश्चोपसदोद्भवैः पापं नुदति धर्मेण धर्मे सर्वं प्रतिष्ठितम्
tasmāddaityā na vadhyāste bhūtaiścopasadodbhavaiḥ pāpaṃ nudati dharmeṇa dharme sarvaṃ pratiṣṭhitam
Vì thế, những Daitya ấy không nên bị giết bởi các loài sinh từ Upasads; bởi tội lỗi được xua tan nhờ Dharma, và toàn thể vũ trụ nương tựa nơi Dharma. Như vậy, Pati (Đấng Chúa Tể) gìn giữ trật tự: ngăn bạo lực và đặt chiến thắng trên nền hạnh hạnh chính trực.
