Adhyaya 71: पुरत्रयवृत्तान्तः—ब्रह्मवरदानम्, मयकृतत्रिपुर-निर्माणम्, विष्णुमाया-धर्मविघ्नः, शिवस्तुति, त्रिपुरदाहोपक्रमः
ततः संचिन्त्य भगवान् स्वयमेव जनार्दनः पुनः प्राह स सर्वांस्तांस् त्रिदशांस्त्रिदशेश्वरः
tataḥ saṃcintya bhagavān svayameva janārdanaḥ punaḥ prāha sa sarvāṃstāṃs tridaśāṃstridaśeśvaraḥ
Rồi, sau khi suy niệm, Đấng Thế Tôn Janārdana—bậc chủ tể của ba mươi vị thiên—lại nói với tất cả chư thần ấy, dẫn dắt họ hướng về nơi nương tựa cao thượng: Pati vượt ngoài mọi dây trói của pāśa.
