Adhyaya 71: पुरत्रयवृत्तान्तः—ब्रह्मवरदानम्, मयकृतत्रिपुर-निर्माणम्, विष्णुमाया-धर्मविघ्नः, शिवस्तुति, त्रिपुरदाहोपक्रमः

भगवानपि तं दृष्ट्वा यज्ञं प्राह सनातनम् सनातनस्तदा सेन्द्रान् देवान् आलोक्य चाच्युतः

bhagavānapi taṃ dṛṣṭvā yajñaṃ prāha sanātanam sanātanastadā sendrān devān ālokya cācyutaḥ

Thấy nghi lễ tế tự ấy, Đấng Thế Tôn tuyên bố đó là Hy Tế Vĩnh Cửu. Rồi Đấng Bất Hoại—chính là Đấng Thường Hằng—đưa mắt nhìn chư thiên cùng với Indra, xác chứng trật tự thờ phụng vượt thời gian, dẫn kẻ bị trói buộc (paśu) hướng về Chúa Tể (pati).
