Adhyaya 71: पुरत्रयवृत्तान्तः—ब्रह्मवरदानम्, मयकृतत्रिपुर-निर्माणम्, विष्णुमाया-धर्मविघ्नः, शिवस्तुति, त्रिपुरदाहोपक्रमः

ववृषुश् च सुगन्धाढ्यं नन्दिनो गगनोदितम् वृष्ट्या तुष्टस्तदा रेजे तुष्ट्या पुष्ट्या यथार्थया

vavṛṣuś ca sugandhāḍhyaṃ nandino gaganoditam vṛṣṭyā tuṣṭastadā reje tuṣṭyā puṣṭyā yathārthayā

Và Nandin từ cõi trời đổ xuống một trận mưa hương thơm ngào ngạt. Được làm vui lòng bởi cơn mưa ấy, Ngài bấy giờ rạng ngời—niềm hoan hỷ trở thành dưỡng lực chân thật, làm tăng trưởng điềm lành và sức mạnh đúng như thực.
