Adhyaya 71: पुरत्रयवृत्तान्तः—ब्रह्मवरदानम्, मयकृतत्रिपुर-निर्माणम्, विष्णुमाया-धर्मविघ्नः, शिवस्तुति, त्रिपुरदाहोपक्रमः
प्राह गंभीरया वाचा देवानालोक्य शङ्करः ज्ञातं मयेदमधुना देवकार्यं सुरेश्वराः
prāha gaṃbhīrayā vācā devānālokya śaṅkaraḥ jñātaṃ mayedamadhunā devakāryaṃ sureśvarāḥ
Bấy giờ Śaṅkara nhìn chư Thiên và cất lời bằng giọng trầm hùng: “Hỡi các bậc chúa tể của chư Sura, nay Ta đã hiểu việc thiêng liêng cần phải hoàn thành.”
