अध्याय 66: इक्ष्वाकुवंश-ऐलवंशप्रवाहः (त्रिशङ्कु-राम-ययात्यादि-प्रकरणम्)

पाणिग्रहणमन्त्रेषु निष्ठाम् अप्रापितेष्विह तेनाधर्मेण संयुक्तं राजा त्रय्यारुणो ऽत्यजत्

pāṇigrahaṇamantreṣu niṣṭhām aprāpiteṣviha tenādharmeṇa saṃyuktaṃ rājā trayyāruṇo 'tyajat

Vì chưa đạt sự kiên định trong các thần chú của nghi lễ pāṇigrahaṇa (nghi thức Veda nắm tay cô dâu), vua Trayyāruṇa đã vướng mắc chính vào adharma ấy; bị trói buộc bởi điều bất chính đó, ngài lìa bỏ cõi đời này.
