विस्तीर्णं मण्डलं कृत्वा तस्योर्ध्वं चरते शशी नक्षत्रमण्डलं कृत्स्नं सोमादूर्ध्वं प्रसर्पति

Transliteration

vistīrṇaṃ maṇḍalaṃ kṛtvā tasyordhvaṃ carate śaśī nakṣatramaṇḍalaṃ kṛtsnaṃ somādūrdhvaṃ prasarpati

Translation

Sau khi tạo thành một quỹ đạo tròn rộng lớn, Mặt Trăng (Śaśī) vận hành ở phía trên; và toàn thể vòng cầu các chòm sao cũng trải rộng, lan lên trên Soma. Như vậy, tầng trời vận hành theo từng lớp đo lường—hiển lộ Đấng Pati là bậc điều ngự nhịp điệu vũ trụ, còn các paśu (chúng sinh bị ràng buộc) nhận ra sự nhiếp trì của Ngài qua thời gian và chuyển động tinh tú.
