Adhyaya 50 — देवपुर्यः, पुराणि, आयतनानि च; श्रीकण्ठाधिपत्य-प्रतिपादनम्

अष्टौ पुराण्युदीर्णानि दानवानां द्विजोत्तमाः सुवर्णकोटरे पुण्ये राक्षसानां महात्मनाम्

aṣṭau purāṇyudīrṇāni dānavānāṃ dvijottamāḥ suvarṇakoṭare puṇye rākṣasānāṃ mahātmanām

Hỡi bậc tối thượng trong hàng hai lần sinh, tám bộ Purāṇa đã được tuyên thuyết giữa các Dānava, trong hang Vàng linh thiêng, vì những Rākṣasa đại tâm—để chánh pháp được ghi nhớ và sợi trói (pāśa) của vô minh được nới lỏng dưới quyền Đức Chúa (Pati).
