FAQs

It frames Rudra’s “bhāva” as amṛta-sukha—an immortal blissful essence—implying that Linga worship is not merely ritual but alignment of the worshipper’s inner state (bhāva) with Pati (Śiva), the source of deathless auspiciousness.

Śiva-tattva is indicated as an intense, exalted consciousness-state whose very flavor is amṛta (deathless essence) and sukha (bliss). This points to Rudra as Pati: the transcendent ground that empowers even Prajāpati’s creative function.

The emphasis is on bhāva-śuddhi (purification and stabilization of inner disposition), a core requirement in Pāśupata-oriented sādhanā: offerings to the Linga must be accompanied by inward absorption into Rudra’s amṛta-sukha nature.
