Adhyaya 34: भस्ममहात्म्यं—अग्नीषोमात्मक-शिवतत्त्वं तथा पाशुपतव्रतप्रशंसा

मलिनाश्चैव विप्रेन्द्रा भवभक्ता दृढव्रताः दधीचस्तु यथा देवदेवं जित्वा व्यवस्थितः

malināścaiva viprendrā bhavabhaktā dṛḍhavratāḥ dadhīcastu yathā devadevaṃ jitvā vyavasthitaḥ

Hỡi bậc đứng đầu hàng Bà-la-môn, tuy bề ngoài lấm bụi và khổ hạnh, họ vẫn là những người sùng kính Bhava (Śiva), kiên cố trong giới nguyện—như Dadhīci, nhờ tapas mà chế ngự cả “Thần của các thần”, rồi đứng vững không lay chuyển trong quyết tâm đã lập.
