Vānaprastha-Dharma: Forest Discipline, Vaikhānasa Austerities, and Śiva-Āśrama as the Liberative Refuge

उपस्पृश्य त्रिषवणं पितृदेवांश्च तर्पयेत् / एकपादेन तिष्ठेत मरीचीन् वा पिबेत् तदा

upaspṛśya triṣavaṇaṃ pitṛdevāṃśca tarpayet / ekapādena tiṣṭheta marīcīn vā pibet tadā

Sau khi làm ācamana và nghi lễ ba thời (trisavana) nơi ba sandhyā, nên dâng nước cúng (tarpana) lên Tổ tiên và chư Thiên. Rồi, như một pháp tu, có thể đứng một chân, hoặc khi ấy thậm chí “uống” các tia nắng mặt trời (marīci) như một lời nguyện tiết chế.
