याचित्वा वापि सद्भ्यो ऽन्नं पितॄन्देवांस्तु तोषयेत् / याचयेद् वा शुचिं दान्तं न तृप्येत स्वयं ततः
yācitvā vāpi sadbhyo 'nnaṃ pitṝndevāṃstu toṣayet / yācayed vā śuciṃ dāntaṃ na tṛpyeta svayaṃ tataḥ
Dẫu phải xin ăn từ người hiền thiện, cũng nên dùng thức ấy để làm vừa lòng các Pitṛ (Tổ tiên) và chư Deva. Hoặc có thể xin từ người thanh tịnh, tự chế—nhưng không nên tự thỏa mãn mình bằng chính thức ăn ấy.
