Śrāddha-vidhi for Pitṛs: Invitations, Purity, Offerings, and Conduct

पात्रे तु मृण्मये यो वै श्राद्धे भोजयते पितन् / स याति नरकं घोरं भोक्ता चैव पुरोधसः

pātre tu mṛṇmaye yo vai śrāddhe bhojayate pitan / sa yāti narakaṃ ghoraṃ bhoktā caiva purodhasaḥ

Ai trong lễ Śrāddha mà dùng đồ đựng bằng đất để dâng cúng và nuôi dưỡng các Pitṛs, người ấy sẽ rơi vào địa ngục ghê rợn; và vị tư tế chủ lễ (purohita) thọ thực trong nghi lễ ấy cũng vậy.
