Bhojana-vidhi and Nitya-karman: Directions for Eating, Prāṇa-Oblations, Sandhyā, and Conduct Leading to Apavarga

न ब्रह्म कीर्तयन् वापि न निः शेषं न भार्यया / नान्धकारे न चाकाशे न च देवालयादिषु

na brahma kīrtayan vāpi na niḥ śeṣaṃ na bhāryayā / nāndhakāre na cākāśe na ca devālayādiṣu

Không nên tụng niệm hay ca ngợi Brahman một cách không đúng phép—không được cẩu thả, không được thiếu cung kính; cũng không nên làm khi ở cùng vợ. Không nên tụng trong bóng tối, không nên tụng ở nơi trống trải dưới bầu trời (chỗ phơi bày); và cũng không nên tụng trong đền miếu hay các khu vực tương tự khi việc ấy không thích hợp.
