Kurma Purana — Uttara Bhaga, Shloka 86

Brahmacārin-Dharma: Guru-Sevā, Daily Vedic Study, Gāyatrī-Japa, and Anadhyāya Regulations

गत्वा वनं वा विधिवज्जुहुयाज्जातवेदसम् / अधीयीत सदा नित्यं ब्रह्मनिष्ठः समाहितः

gatvā vanaṃ vā vidhivajjuhuyājjātavedasam / adhīyīta sadā nityaṃ brahmaniṣṭhaḥ samāhitaḥ

Dù đi vào rừng, người ấy cũng phải theo đúng nghi thức mà dâng cúng vào Jātavedas (Agni). Và với tâm luôn định tĩnh, tự chế, an trú trong Brahman, hãy không ngừng chuyên cần học tụng thánh điển.
