भूदानादिनिरूपणं नाम द्विचत्वारिंशतमो ऽध्यायः श्रीविष्णुरुवाच / जलाग्निबन्धनभ्रष्टा प्रव्रज्यानाशकच्युताः / ऐन्दवाभ्यां विशुध्यन्ति दत्त्वा धेनुं तथा वृषम्

Transliteration

bhūdānādinirūpaṇaṃ nāma dvicatvāriṃśatamo 'dhyāyaḥ śrīviṣṇuruvāca / jalāgnibandhanabhraṣṭā pravrajyānāśakacyutāḥ / aindavābhyāṃ viśudhyanti dattvā dhenuṃ tathā vṛṣam

Translation

Đức Vishnu phán: Những ai sa vào lỗi liên hệ đến nước, lửa, hay bị giam cầm trái pháp, và những ai lỡ rơi khỏi kỷ luật xuất gia cùng việc giữ gìn nghi lễ thánh, sẽ được thanh tịnh nhờ phép tẩy uế theo Chandra (mát lành) và Surya (thiêu đốt); bằng cách bố thí một con bò cái và cũng vậy một con bò đực.
