FAQs

This verse emphasizes continual self-audit and repentance: acknowledging daily offences and explicitly asking Puruṣottama for pardon, a core purificatory practice alongside dharma and ritual.

By admitting “day and night” offences, the verse highlights how karmic burdens can accumulate through habitual actions; the remedy presented here is sincere confession and turning to the Lord for cleansing and restraint.

End the day with a brief confession-and-forgiveness prayer, resolve to avoid repeated faults, and pair devotion with ethical correction—truthfulness, non-harm, and disciplined conduct.
