This verse frames water as Viṣṇu’s abode and manifestation, making ritual water (for bathing, ācamana, offerings) a direct medium for remembrance and purification.
It instructs that while using water—especially in cleansing acts—one should consciously remember Viṣṇu, treating water not as inert matter but as a sacred presence.
Before bathing or sipping water in daily rites, pause briefly to recollect Viṣṇu and use the act as mindful purification rather than a mechanical routine.
