Thang sắc nấu từ các vị đại dược—amṛtā (guḍūcī), musta, đàn hương, uśīra (cỏ hương bài) và dhānyaka (rau mùi)—khi dùng pha với đường và mật ong sẽ diệt chứng sốt cách nhật ba (tṛtīyaka).
