Related Themes: Garuda Purana 1.170 (nasya and emergency measures)
Nasya is presented as a rapid-acting route to stimulate the head region and restore saṃjñā (consciousness), showing the Purana’s applied Ayurvedic knowledge.
It does not discuss the soul’s journey; it addresses reviving consciousness in a medical context, supporting life and duty (dharma) through health.
It points to nasal interventions for acute states, but modern practice should treat unconsciousness as an emergency and use only clinician-approved methods.
