स जीवति गुणा यस्य धर्मो यस्य स जीवति / गुणधर्मविहीनो यो निष्फल तस्य जीवनम्

Transliteration

sa jīvati guṇā yasya dharmo yasya sa jīvati / guṇadharmavihīno yo niṣphala tasya jīvanam

Translation

Người thật sự sống là người trong đó có đức hạnh và có Dharma. Còn kẻ thiếu cả đức lẫn Dharma thì đời sống ấy chỉ là vô ích, không kết quả.
