yasmin daśa-vidhaḥ prāṇaḥ sendriyārthendriyas tri-vṛt tvayerito yato varṇās tad-vibhūtīr vadasva naḥ

Hỡi đại Bà-la-môn, ngài đã nói rằng trong hình thể virāṭ có mười loại prāṇa, có các căn và đối tượng của căn, cùng ba dạng sinh lực. Nay xin ngài từ bi giảng rõ cho chúng tôi những quyền năng của từng phần phân chia ấy.
