सांवत्सरं पुंसवनं व्रतमेतदविप्लुतम् । धारयिष्यसि चेत्तुभ्यं शक्रहा भविता सुत: ॥ ५४ ॥

Transliteration

sāṁvatsaraṁ puṁsavanaṁ vratam etad aviplutam dhārayiṣyasi cet tubhyaṁ śakra-hā bhavitā sutaḥ

Translation

Kaśyapa Muni nói tiếp: Nếu con thực hành nghi lễ gọi là puṁsavana này với lòng tin, không sai sót, ít nhất trong một năm, con sẽ sinh ra một người con trai có định mệnh giết Indra. Nhưng nếu việc giữ lời nguyện có điều khiếm khuyết, đứa con ấy sẽ trở thành bạn của Indra.
