तथाभियाचितो देवैर्ऋषिराथर्वणो महान् । मोदमान उवाचेदं प्रहसन्निव भारत ॥ २ ॥

Transliteration

tathābhiyācito devair ṛṣir ātharvaṇo mahān modamāna uvācedaṁ prahasann iva bhārata

Translation

Hỡi Bharata (Parīkṣit), theo lời chỉ dạy của Chúa, các chư thiên đến gặp đại hiền Dadhīci, con của Atharvā. Ngài rất rộng lượng; khi được cầu xin hiến thân thể, ngài lập tức phần nào chấp thuận. Nhưng để nghe họ giảng về dharma, ngài mỉm cười và như đùa vui mà nói như sau.
