सम्मार्जनोपलेपाभ्यां गृहमण्डनवर्तनै: । स्वयं च मण्डिता नित्यं परिमृष्टपरिच्छदा ॥ २६ ॥ कामैरुच्चावचै: साध्वी प्रश्रयेण दमेन च । वाक्यै: सत्यै: प्रियै: प्रेम्णा काले काले भजेत्पतिम् ॥ २७ ॥

Transliteration

sammārjanopalepābhyāṁ gṛha-maṇḍana-vartanaiḥ svayaṁ ca maṇḍitā nityaṁ parimṛṣṭa-paricchadā

Translation

Người nữ trinh chính phải quét dọn, lau rửa và chăm sóc để ngôi nhà luôn thanh sạch, trang hoàng gia thất; bản thân cũng thường xuyên chỉnh tề, mặc y phục sạch đẹp. Nàng sẵn lòng đáp ứng những mong muốn khác nhau của chồng bằng sự khiêm nhu và tự chế; nói lời chân thật, dịu ngọt, đáng mến, và phụng sự chồng với tình yêu, tùy thời tùy cảnh.
