एतेन हि दिवो मण्डलमानं तद्विद उपदिशन्ति यथा द्विदलयोर्निष्पावादीनां ते अन्तरेणान्तरिक्षं तदुभयसन्धितम् ॥ २ ॥

Transliteration

etena hi divo maṇḍala-mānaṁ tad-vida upadiśanti yathā dvi-dalayor niṣpāvādīnāṁ te antareṇāntarikṣaṁ tad-ubhaya-sandhitam.

Translation

Như hạt lúa mì được chẻ làm hai: biết kích thước phần dưới thì có thể suy ra kích thước phần trên; cũng vậy, các bậc am tường địa-vũ trụ học dạy rằng nhờ biết các số đo của phần dưới mà hiểu được số đo của phần trên vũ trụ. Khoảng trời giữa cầu địa giới và cầu thiên giới gọi là antarikṣa (ngoại không), tiếp giáp đỉnh của cầu đất và đáy của cầu trời.
