देहोऽयं मानुषो राजन् पुरुषस्याखिलार्थद: । तस्मादस्य वधो वीर सर्वार्थवध उच्यते ॥ २८ ॥

Transliteration

deho ’yaṁ mānuṣo rājan puruṣasyākhilārthadaḥ tasmād asya vadho vīra sarvārtha-vadha ucyate

Translation

Hỡi đức vua, hỡi dũng sĩ, thân người này là phương tiện để đạt mọi lợi ích và mục đích cao quý của đời sống; vì vậy giết nó khi chưa đến lúc được gọi là hủy diệt mọi lợi ích của kiếp người.
