तमाहुर्वासुदेवांशं मोक्षधर्मविवक्षया । अवतीर्णं सुतशतं तस्यासीद् ब्रह्मपारगम् ॥ १६ ॥

Transliteration

tam āhur vāsudevāṁśaṁ mokṣa-dharma-vivakṣayā avatīrṇaṁ suta-śataṁ tasyāsīd brahma-pāragam

Translation

Śrī Ṛṣabhadeva được thừa nhận là một phần mở rộng của Vāsudeva. Ngài giáng thế để truyền dạy những nguyên lý dharma dẫn chúng sinh đến mokṣa tối hậu. Ngài có một trăm người con, tất cả đều viên mãn trong tri thức Veda.
