एवं यदूनां शाल्वानां निघ्नतामितरेतरम् । युद्धं त्रिनवरात्रं तदभूत्तुमुलमुल्बणम् ॥ ५ ॥

Transliteration

evaṁ yadūnāṁ śālvānāṁ nighnatām itaretaram yuddhaṁ tri-nava-rātraṁ tad abhūt tumulam ulbaṇam

Translation

Như vậy, người Yadu và phe của Śālva cứ tấn công lẫn nhau; trận chiến ầm vang và đáng sợ ấy kéo dài hai mươi bảy ngày đêm.
