प्रमृज्याश्रुकले नेत्रे स्तनौ चोपहतौ शुचा । आश्लिष्य बाहुना राजननन्यविषयां सतीम् ॥ २७ ॥ सान्‍त्‍वयामास सान्‍त्‍वज्ञ: कृपया कृपणां प्रभु: । हास्यप्रौढिभ्रमच्चित्तामतदर्हां सतां गति: ॥ २८ ॥

Transliteration

pramṛjyāśru-kale netre stanau copahatau śucā āśliṣya bāhunā rājan ananya-viṣayāṁ satīm

Translation

Tâu Đại vương, Ngài—chỗ nương tựa của bậc hiền thánh—lau đôi mắt đẫm lệ và bầu ngực ướt vì lệ sầu, rồi ôm lấy người vợ trinh khiết chỉ hướng về một mình Ngài. Śrī Kṛṣṇa, bậc tinh thông việc vỗ về, đã lấy lòng từ bi an ủi nàng Rukmiṇī đáng thương, tâm trí bị rối loạn bởi lời đùa khéo của Ngài, dù nàng không đáng chịu khổ như vậy.
